Block Island, RI

 

Located just around 20 miles off the Newport coast is the popular summer destination of Block Island. Rugged coastal cliffs and miles of sandy beaches create a spectacular backdrop for both onshore and on the water activities. The island is fully equipped for lovers of outdoor activities as well as those who just want to kick back and relax. Legend has it that the island is scattered with ornamental glass orbs strategically hidden by a local glass artist. If found, you can register your orb and take it as an unforgettable souvenir!
